Thursdays At North Oaks
Whether you’re full of faith or full of questions, your story matters here.
Make meaningful connections with other 20-somethings who most likely are busy working on the weekends or don't feel quite ready to make it out to a Sunday morning service. North Oaks Young Adults is a community of college students and young professionals gathering right here in Canyon Country to eat good food, ask tough questions, and build friendships that actually last.
What to Expect Every Thursday Night
No pretense. No perfect people. Just a real community.
-
🍔 6:45 PM | Free Dinner
Don’t worry about rushing home to cook after class or work. Show up hungry. We have a free, high-quality meal waiting for you every single week (think local street tacos, burger bars, and pizza).
-
🎸 7:30 PM | Casual Worship & Short Message
We trade the massive concert production for an acoustic, low-key setting. Our messages are short (under 20 minutes) and tackle the messy, real-world topics you’re actually dealing with—like anxiety, career burnout, relationships, and faith gaps.
-
💬 7:50 PM -8:30 PM | Table Talk
This is where the growth happens. We don't just lecture you; we sit in circles and talk. You are explicitly allowed to voice doubts, ask hard questions, or just sit back and listen. Your voice matters here.

You attend College of the Canyons (Canyon Country or Valencia campuses) or The Master's University, or CalArts and need a local church home.
-
You work retail, restaurant, or shift hours in SCV and want a mid-week community.
-
You grew up in church but have a lot of new questions and doubts you need a safe place to sort through.
