Program Overview

Step into the frontier of modern ministry. We are building and launching an entirely borderless digital campus from the ground up, and we need an innovative digital architect to help lead the way. This intensive, in-person internship is designed for the next generation of online pastors, digital missionaries, and tech-driven media directors.

Rather than just running a Sunday stream, you will actively shape how our church connects, disciples, and builds community in the digital space. While your focus is entirely on the online environment, you will work in close lockstep and collaboration with our Creative Arts Track to transform live physical production into a powerful digital asset.

What You Will Master

Digital Broadcasting & Streaming Tech

• Broadcast Engineering: Learn how to manage high-definition multi-camera switchers, video encoders, and streaming software to push a flawless feed to multiple platforms simultaneously.

• Audio for Broadcast: Master the art of mixing broadcast audio, understanding loudness compliance, and optimizing sound specifically for laptops, phones, and home theaters.

• Platform Management: Take ownership of the digital church interface, managing online chat environments, interactive prayer tools, and real-time community engagement software.

Digital Discipleship & Content Strategy

• Graphic Design for Web: Design custom digital thumbnails, app layouts, website assets, and specialized social media graphics tailored for digital-first viewers.

• Video Editing & Short-Form Content: Cut down long-form Sunday messages into high-engagement clips (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for digital outreach.

• Online Community Building: Develop strategies to transition passive internet viewers into active, engaged participants in digital small groups and online serve teams.

• The Launch Blueprint: Map out the structural, technical, and strategic framework required to launch and scale a fully functioning online campus ecosystem from scratch.

Dual-Expert Mentorship

This residency offers an incredible, well-rounded learning experience under the direct guidance of two seasoned leaders:

• Johnny Juarez: Work side-by-side with Johnny to master practical ministry execution, creative team management, and the week-to-week rhythm of running a modern church media department.

• Joe Herrington: Learn advanced environmental storytelling and digital logistics from an industry icon. Joe currently serves as a Principal Media Designer in the theme park entertainment industry and brings over 40 years of expertise in world-class audio layout and sensory design.

Together, they will teach you how to bridge the gap between technical excellence and genuine online community, taking elite storytelling principles and applying them to a digital environment for worship.
