Program Overview

Step into the future of worship ministry. We are launching a groundbreaking contemporary service and building a modern worship experience from the ground up. This intensive, in-person internship is designed for the next generation of creative ministry leaders. You will not just shadow a team—you will actively architect the service, lead a dynamic praise band, and design the multi-media content required to engage a modern congregation.

While this track focuses directly on the physical sanctuary experience, you will regularly collaborate with our Digital Campus Track to ensure our live production seamlessly feeds into our borderless online ecosystem.

What You Will Master

Worship Leadership & Production

• Worship Operations: Become an expert in Planning Center (Services & Music Stand) to manage service flows, schedule teams, and streamline rehearsals.

• Live Audio Engineering: Master Front of House (FOH) mixing, acoustic balancing, and complex wireless frequencies for pristine live room sound.

• In-Ear Monitor (IEM) Systems: Build custom, multi-channel monitor mixes to give musicians studio-quality confidence on stage.

• Studio Tracking & Logic Pro: Learn professional recording, multitrack editing, and mixing in Logic Pro to capture live music assets.

• Praise Band Leadership: Develop skills to audition, arrange, and coach a live contemporary band while navigating vocal and instrumental dynamics.

Digital Media & Content Creation

• Graphic Design: Create sermon series branding, social media graphics, and clean on-screen slide layouts using professional design software.

• Video Editing: Produce engaging sermon recaps, promo clips, and high-impact campus announcements.

• Content Strategy: Build a consistent digital presence across social media platforms to engage your community throughout the week.

• The Launch Blueprint: Map out the technical, visual, and spiritual framework required to successfully launch a contemporary service from scratch.

Expert Mentorship

This residency offers an incredible opportunity to learn modern ministry execution under the direct mentorship of Johnny Juarez. You will work side-by-side with an experienced leader to learn how to balance tech execution, volunteer care, and creative excellence in the local church sanctuary.
